State Boards & Compact Licensure (NLC)

To sit for the exam, your education must be completed at a fully approved and accredited nursing school. Many states participate in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC), allowing RNs to hold one multi-state license and practice across participating state borders without obtaining separate state credentials.
